Shibari Sessions: A Journey to the Present

Shibari sessions offer a unique opportunity to be fully present in the moment and experience yourself in a new way. As you are bound in ropes and taken care of, you can let go of your responsibilities and simply feel. The ropes awaken your body and at the same time help clear your thoughts as you concentrate on your sensations. While your body surrenders, your mind and soul are fully in the present, catching every little detail.

What to Expect During a Shibari Session

The goal of a shibari session is for you to leave feeling full of self-love and appreciation, and completely safe to express your emotions and let go of what you no longer need. Here's an overview of the steps we'll follow:

  • We'll begin with a friendly conversation about what we'll be working on that day and make sure we're on the same page about the general flow of the process.
  • We'll then move into some short breath work and meditation, followed by the rope tying.
  • The untying process is also an important and slow one that helps you reconnect with your physical body after letting go completely.

It's important to note that positions and knots will vary each time, as we tailor the experience to the individual needs of each person. Rope work may involve floor tying and sometimes partial suspension, but never full suspension.

A photoshoot is not included in the session, but if you'd like to have your experience captured, please let us know in advance and we would be happy to arrange it.
